“A Child’s War” Exhibition
will be on display at Bradford-on-Avon Library, from Monday 21 June – Saturday 09 July 2016.
Using documents and archive images this exhibition looks at the effect of the First World War on the children of Wiltshire; it features fascinating stories about boy soldiers, fundraising, school life, and Scouts.
The exhibition includes information panels with illuminating images, and is the third of five Wiltshire at War exhibitions, which are part of Wiltshire County’s multi-year remembrance of the First World War. Stories have been gathered from all across Wiltshire to create it.
